B's Bees Batch Info

Each batch is unique and different, no 2 batches of B's Bees honey will ever be the same and this is because honey is a natural product that is influenced by various factors, including the types of flowers visited by bees, weather conditions, geographical location, and even beekeeping practices.

These factors contribute to the unique flavour, aroma, colour, and texture of each batch of honey.

Below you will find some information relating to the batches that have left the B's Bees kitchen (most recent first).

Reminder:

Best Before Date

Honey doesn't really expire. It has been said that it remains as good as it was when it was extracted. As long as it is stored properly (out of direct sunlight, not exposed to direct heat and isn't frozen) it will last well beyond its best before date. If it's crystallised, follow the instructions above. Due to regulations on labelling, I have popped 2 years on the jar from date of extraction. Please note that some labels state 'EXP', but it will be good past this date if you follow storage instructions above.

Colour, consistency and flavour

It's important to note that the exact flavour, colour, and consistency of honey can vary based on factors like the specific types of flowers available to the bees, local environmental conditions, and the honey-making process itself. The combination of these factors contributes to the unique qualities of different types of honey. One batch may be runny whereas another may be thicker, less clear and taste completely different. This is the beauty of buying from a local beekeeper.

* The colour is the closest I could see by comparing at time of jarring, it may change over time.
